3rd Annual Affordable Housing Australasia Conference

The 3rd Annual Affording Housing Australasia, held in Melbourne, was a powerful convergence of vision, collaboration and action where government leaders, community housing providers, developers and innovators came together to shape the future of affordable housing across the region. The conference featured keynote addresses from Minister for Housing, Homelessness & Cities, Australian Government - Hon. Clare O’Neil and Minister for Housing and Building, Parliament of Victoria - Hon. Harriet Shing, setting the tone for two days of engaging discussions on policy reform, cross-sector collaboration and sustainable housing delivery. Highlights included forward-thinking sessions on Modular and Prefab Innovation, Indigenous-led design and community partnerships, Inclusionary Zoning and Alternative Financing Models. The energy and engagement throughout the two days reflected the sector’s growing appetite for collaboration and systemic change. Looking forward to an even more impactful 4th Edition in 2026!

The October HR Summit wrapped up its first day with a spooktacular twist— the HR-LLOWEEN Evening Networking! 🎃 The evening brought a festive Halloween atmosphere to life through creative décor, themed lighting, and an array of eerie yet delicious food and drinks. Guests enjoyed a relaxed evening of networking and laughter surrounded by cobwebs, pumpkins, and glowing lanterns that set the perfect tone for the season. The menu featured Halloween-inspired treats and refreshments — from graveyard dips and Witch’s Fingers Breadsticks to Zombie Tacos — adding a playful touch to the night.
