Global L&Q Updates
It has been an exciting quarter for the Global Learning & Quality Department as we continue to grow and strengthen our team. We had our first global visit to our new Hyderabad office, where Aneesa Davids, our L&Q Specialist supporting Global ADE and Curations, joined us for a week of impactful trainings, team building events, and key strategic discussions. After over a year of virtual collaboration, it was wonderful to have Aneesa with us in person. We also welcomed Nipunika Adiraju as our new L&Q Specialist supporting Content, Client Experience, and MEC divisions. With seven talented team members now onboard — and more growth ahead — I am energised by the incredible partnerships we are building across divisions and look forward to delivering even greater value to our people and business.

Event Highlights for North America Summits
The beginning of this summit season has been quite busy for North America! We kicked off the year with quite a few events taking place all over the country including Dallas, San Diego, Napa Valley, Boston and San Antonio.
All events were very successful with various highlights such as the “Wine Cave Dinner” in Napa Valley, the “Evening Fiesta” in San Antonio and the “St Patrick’s reception” in Boston. What’s next? You will need to wait for the next newsletter where we will be featuring exciting things from the next round of events! As a small hint, the fun fair is making a stop in Boston 😊

Event Highlights for APAC Summits
The ANZ summit season started with a vibrant and successful CMO ANZ Summit in February. A highlight of the jam-packed programme was the early Morning Yoga session led by a sponsor client and active Yoga instructor on day 2, which was well received by clients and also Marcus Evans team members. The first day of the event ended with a Sunset Picnic including giant board games, tasty bites and refreshing sips.
Team Korea also hosted another fantastic CIO Korea summit, in April at the Conrad Hotel Seoul! The event gave an excellent opportunity for IT leaders to exchange knowledge and insights, with lively networking and engaging in meetings throughout the event and marked another milestone for the team in this new developing market. The evening networking cocktail session offered a relaxed vibe, perfect for strengthening new connections and engaging in meaningful conversations. We also introduced an additional networking session to add value: our Morning Connect Networking Hour over coffee on the second day before the first presentation.
The Private Wealth Management APAC Summit also took place in late April at the beautiful Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore.
Next to come for the ANZ and APAC team are the HR and CFO ANZ Summits early June in Queensland Australia and the first CMO Asia Summit in late June, also taking place at the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore.

Linguarama
After an extraordinary journey with Linguarama that began in 1985, Cristina Fiderio is retiring. She often said she was a “Linguarama baby”, having joined the company so young—but looking back, it’s clear that Linguarama Torino became her baby. Over the past 35 years as Manager of the Turin Centre, she has helped it grow into a strong, successful and respected centre.
Through her dedication, vision and deep understanding of our clients, Cristina played a key role in building a solid, close-knit (and largely female!) team in Turin, a loyal group of trainers, and strong relationships with companies in the region.
Cristina has always embodied the spirit of Linguarama: international, professional, inclusive—and always focused on quality.
She will be very much missed, but we’re counting on seeing her often!

Linguarama Group is saying goodbye and thank you to Judy Fitzgerald, our national account manager in Germany who had her last day in April 2025. Judy started out 40 years ago as a freelancer trainer of English in our Munich school and soon advanced to director of studies, then centre manager. She later relocated to Berlin as centre manager then became our national account manager.
Judy has had a profound impact on Linguarama, growing successful centres and landing large clients such as Airbus, Bayer and Deutsche Bahn, to name only a few, all of which helped to shape our company’s processes and products, and help keep us competitive.
We thank Judy for lending us her tireless engagement, professionalism, creativity and humour, and for her contributions to sales training, reporting, product development, strategy and many more areas. We wish her a wonderful new phase in life.

The team had another successful quarter, growing the business 25%+ year-over-year. Fahad Gilani crossed the USD 1.25 million mark in business halfway through the fiscal year! That’s a great achievement!

Karachi
Our CEO for Europe and NA Conferences, Adnan Quazi, visited the Karachi office for the first time. It was really nice seeing him engage with the team in our new office for EU and US North American Capital Markets. He held some intensive individual and group trainings revolving around the topics of why we choose Marcus Evans as a business and bring value to our clients and how our sales process helps businesses and drives the company towards more revenue generation as well. It was a very productive week ending with a team dinner on Thursday night. We hope to see him again back in the Karachi office with our General Manager, Ritesh Keshvala, very soon.

Tokyo
A huge thanks to Derek Conway, our APAC CEO, for flying out to Tokyo to lead an inspiring workshop. He shared so many valuable insights and really motivated us to keep pushing forward. We also got to celebrate the birthday of Bulent Halil, CEO of our Japan and Germany offices — a perfect mix of learning and celebration!
